Pocket Evo Privacy Policy
Updated and effective: September 22, 2026
Pocket Evo is a remote downloader management tool developed by Kxmrg. The App offers no account registration or login and does not upload your server credentials, task data or backup files to the developer.
1. Servers and local data
Server configuration, app preferences and consent records are stored locally. Sensitive information such as passwords and API keys uses system secure storage.
The App connects directly to servers you configure, sends credentials and operation requests, and reads task, file and status information to provide management features. The developer’s servers do not relay this traffic. Your configured servers may log connection IP addresses and operations.
Removing local server configuration or uninstalling the App does not delete remote tasks or files. System Keychain records may remain after uninstallation.
2. Files and backups
The App accesses only files you select through the system file picker. Files used to add tasks are sent to your selected downloader.
Backups are generated locally and contain server configuration, connection credentials and app settings. You may encrypt them with a six-digit password. Without a password, an embedded key is used, which does not provide the same confidentiality as a private password. Keep backups secure.
You choose where to save or send backups through system sharing. The developer provides no backup cloud storage. Third-party sharing or storage services you select follow their own privacy policies.
3. Device identifier
Only after you agree to this policy will the App read the system device identifier and generate or read a local random installation identifier.
The App combines iOS IDFV or Android ID with a local random UUID to calculate a 32-character machine code. If the system identifier is unavailable, the remaining information is used. The code identifies only the device or installation instance of this App. System changes or reinstallation may change it. It is not used for advertising or cross-app tracking.
4. Permissions and information use
- Network and local network: Used to connect to your configured servers. Permissions can be managed in system settings.
- Files: Used to read selected task files, restore backups and export backups.
- Clipboard: Used only for copy or paste actions you initiate, without continuous monitoring.
The current version does not use advertising identifiers or integrate advertising, behavioral analytics or automatic crash reporting. It does not request contacts, camera, microphone or precise location permissions.
Support emails you voluntarily send are used only to respond and address the issue, and retained as needed. Please do not send passwords or other sensitive information. External websites you open may receive your IP address and other information necessary to serve the request.
5. Your choices and security
If you decline this policy, features such as adding servers and opening settings remain unavailable. You can read the policy again and choose whether to agree.
You can change or remove local configuration, manage permissions, delete backups, or stop using the App and remove app data. Shared backups must be deleted separately from their storage locations. No storage or transmission method is absolutely secure. Use valid HTTPS certificates and protect your device and backups.
The App is not directed at children. Minors should use it under guardian supervision.
6. Updates and contact
If our information processing changes materially, we will update this policy, notify you and obtain consent as required.
